Preheat the grill on medium heat
Toast a slice of bread on one side only. Spread the untoasted side with butter or margarine. Sprinkle with a mixture of the cinnamon and caster sugar. Grill until the toast is browned at the edges. Allow to cool slightly before eating as the sugar can get very hot.
Eat alone as an afternoon snack or for breakfast. Also try with fresh or tinned fruit or plain cottage cheese. The sugar-spice mixture can be made in larger quantities and kept in an airtight container.
