The AGM was an informative event which covered a wide range of patient topics. Attendance could have been better with 15 people in the room and online.
The event followed the agenda below (Click here for Agenda & Chair's Presentation) and an excellent talk was given by Professor Banerjee, (Care Lead Renal Unit) ably supported by Dr Popoola.

This was the first occasion where we made the AGM available to patients via Zoom. However, only 5 people attended online and feedback from 1 patient was negative as an experience. On the day it proved to be difficult to host the meeting in the room, have different presenters, and limited by room facilities as to where they could stand. The Zoom meeting however was run from the same laptop as used to present and this proved to be problematic. The Zoom Host must use a different device from the presenter and continually checking
As mentioned, attendance was lower, at around half that of years 2016/17/18. We didn't send out 1000 letters. Instead, we used email, this website, Facebook and posters in the clinics, waiting rooms dialysis centres and wards that renal patients use.
